To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep that information current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at hello@coretrace.ai if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
Coretrace offers a free tier with limited usage and paid subscription tiers with expanded capabilities. Free tier usage is provided at no cost subject to the usage limits described on our pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at the time of purchase. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly described in these Terms. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice.
If your payment method fails, we may suspend access to paid features until payment is resolved. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

Coretrace's property. Coretrace owns all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, AI models, interview logic, user interface, design, documentation, and all related intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the Service or Coretrace's proprietary technology to you.
Your data. You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including contact lists, and all data generated through your use of the Service, including interview transcripts, responses, and AI-generated insights (collectively, "Your Data"). You grant Coretrace a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Feedback. If you provide us with feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant Coretrace the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Insights, summaries, themes, and other content generated by Coretrace's AI are produced automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions without independent validation.
Coretrace makes no warranty that AI-generated insights are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. The quality of AI-generated outputs depends in part on the quality and completeness of interview responses provided by your contacts. You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and act upon AI-generated content.
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at coretrace.ai/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service — including your collection and upload of contact data, and your distribution of interview invitations — complies with all applicable privacy and data protection laws. You agree to maintain a lawful basis for contacting each individual in your uploaded lists and to honor opt-out requests promptly.
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Service that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential given the nature of the information ("Confidential Information"). Each party agrees to use the other's Confidential Information only to fulfill its obligations under these Terms and to protect it with at least the same degree of care it uses for its own confidential information, but no less than reasonable care.
Disclaimer of warranties. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Coretrace be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if Coretrace has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Liability cap. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coretrace's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Coretrace in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coretrace and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Data or the contact lists you upload; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including the individuals you contact through the Service; or (e) your use or distribution of AI-generated insights.
Termination by you. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at hello@coretrace.ai or through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period for paid plans.
Termination by Coretrace. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with reasonable notice where practicable. We will provide notice where suspension or termination is not due to a violation of these Terms.
Data export. Following account termination, Your Data will be available for export for a period of 30 days. After that period, we may permanently delete Your Data. We strongly recommend exporting your data before terminating your account. Coretrace is not responsible for any data lost due to failure to export within this window.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive any termination.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time. For material changes that negatively affect your use of the Service, we will provide reasonable advance notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email to the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The notice will identify the changes and include a link to the updated Terms.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account before the effective date.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitration provider, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If any provision of this Section is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder of this Section shall continue in full force.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order forms or subscription agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Coretrace regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. Coretrace may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
